The 2026 WNBA All-Star Weekend gave me the opportunity to cover one of the biggest events in professional basketball as a credentialed multimedia journalist. Throughout the weekend, I produced interviews, photography, social media coverage, and feature content highlighting the league's biggest stars while representing On Air News.

WNBA All-Star Media Day gave me the opportunity to interview players, capture behind-the-scenes content and document the energy surrounding one of the league’s biggest events.
Working in a fast-moving media environment required preparation, adaptability and the ability to create quality content within a limited amount of time.
WNBA Skills Challenge & 3pt Contest Recap
The WNBA All-Star Skills Challenge and 3-Point Contest featured some of the league’s most talented players competing in front of an energetic Chicago crowd.
My coverage included event photography, social media videos, player reactions and behind-the-scenes moments.
WNBA ALL-STAR GAME Recap
WNBA All-Star Weekend concluded with Team Spoon earning a 129–122 victory over Team Coop.
Jonquel Jones was named All-Star Game MVP after recording 22 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. The night also featured a halftime performance by Tyla and showcased the personalities, talent and excitement surrounding the WNBA.
My coverage included courtside photography, game highlights, social media updates and postgame content for On Air Network.
Covering WNBA All-Star Weekend strengthened my passion for sports journalism and multimedia storytelling.
The experience challenged me to work quickly, communicate professionally with athletes and media representatives, and create engaging content across photography, video, written reporting and social media.
Every interview, photograph and video gave me another opportunity to grow as a sports journalist. I look forward to covering more major sporting events and continuing to tell meaningful stories through digital media.
